How to insert unformatted new line in a web clipped note?

Recommended Posts

Say you clipped a webpage.

Now back in EN app,  you want to write some notes about it at the top of the note.

But due to the formatting, you can't enter new lines or type any text at the top.

Is there a way to force EN to enter a new unformatted line at the top?

Add a remark when you create the clip and you will have a line to work with at the top of the note.

...Or (assuming you're on a desktop) add a blank line in the remarks field in Clipper so you have a space into which a new comment can be added later.

If you're clipping (sharing) from a mobile,  there's no comparable 'remarks' option,  but it's always possible to create a separate note and merge the two,  or link any number of additional notes with tags,  links or titles...

Thanks both, that's very clever.

I tried and it indeed inserted a new line at the top. Very helpful.

Merging note is a great hack too.

One caveat though. The entire note is black when I tried to do a fullpage clip of a page with black background (article is fine).

The remark is still there, though I have to manually set the color to white or something.

You are welcome.  The all black clip sounds like a clipper bug.  You could try another browser to see if it works better for the page in question.
