(Archived) SUGGESTION: URL in picture

I frequently take pictures of posters with web addresses on it, it would be nice if Evernote can recognize these web addresses on the pictures and make them clickable. I assume if you are able to index the text on the pictures so they are searchable, it would not be too different to recognize URLs and make them clickable.

It's probably not safe to assume too many things are easy to do, unless you're an employee of EN & have worked intricately in the code. Having said that:

Our image processing for bitmap images isn't like OCR ... we're producing a more complicated tree of possibilities that are tuned for searching, not for 100% correct single-value extraction.
