Allow note taking while using annotate

I cannot write down notes about a PDF I am reading using annotate. Every time I try to write down a note annotate closes. Even if I open the note in a separate pop up. Please make it possible to take notes about the PDF and annotate it at the same time.

Hi. Can you open both Evernote desktop and Web,  and annotate in one / note-take in the other?  NB this is never going to work if you're note-taking in the same note as one which has the PDF attachment - though you could take notes into another Evernote and copy/ paste across or merge the two afterward...
