(Archived) PDF Import?

I really like what I'm seeing with the current beta. One thing that I'm missing, though, is the ability to import PDF files. Is that planned for a future release?

We're definitely interested in allowing you to capture your PDF memories (e.g. receipts, etc.) into Evernote. We need to work out the details about how to do this smoothly: PDF is really well integrated into Mac OS X, but not so much in another (somewhat common) operating system that we support ...
