No icon even after reinstall

I've installed Evernote currently at version 6.11.2.7.027

If I go to search or use the shortcut on the desktop there's no icon for Evernote. I know it seems like a small problem but it's really really annoying.

I would be annoyed myself too.

Have you located a solution yet? I noticed it is a June 18 post.

I found the Evernote executable, pressed right click > "Create shortcut" > Dragged it out to the desktop.

So I have not found a "true" solution to the thing.
