(Archived) Anybody using egretlist for useful puposes (not cool)

The egretlist homepage shows "cool" uses for egretlist, like taking pictures of your camera to add to your packing list for a trip, in case you can't remember what you're camera looks like. Very cool!

Never having been "cool" myself (pretty much show up when I say I will and do what I say I'll do, which pretty much makes me not cool), I don't have any cool uses. Are there any other non-cool folks out there who have found practical uses for egretlist?

One major limitation I've already found that might be a deal-killer for me, you can only use EN saved searches to create separate todo lists. Since you can only search in one notebook at a time, using one search criteria, you're very limited in what those saved searches can do.
