Clipper not working since Firefox update 60.0.1

Hi.  Just updated to Firefox 60.0.1 and my clipper seems to be working still.  Have you tried restarting your device?

- Some web pages are -apparently- unclippable... if you can share a URL I'll check that it's not the page blocking you.

Weird. Do you have access to another browser besides Firefox?  Check that clipper still works there.  Maybe the browser update on Firefox 'improved' security or otherwise changed the connection so the browser won't work.  Have you noticed any other internet connection oddities with Firefox?

Hmmn.  Sorry - I can only suggest you raise this with Support:  they're available on https://www.evernote.com/SupportLogin.action if you're a subscriber,  Twitter - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps if the support link won't work for you,  or if you're not a subscriber.

I imagine they have a hard time keeping up with the daily updates that modern browsers now issue - Chrome changed recently which led (I think) to a rewrite of the whole clipper code,  and Firefox may have put something in their latest release which causes a problem to some users.  Evernote are probably already aware and working on a fix,  but just in case they're not...

I deactivated all "security" related add-ons (no-script, privacy badger, https everywhere, ublock origin, firefox "first party isolation" pilot) and after FF restart, I could login to webclipper and it continues to work even after switching all add-ons on again.

I'm not entirely sure what the conclusion to this is but it works again now.

PS: I also added https://evernote.com to the exceptions in FF-options-cookies. (BUT this didn't seem to have any effect even after restarting FF)

If somebody understands what happened: please share!

Same problem on Mac OS Sierra with Firefox 60.0.2 and Evernote Webclipper 6.13.2.

There's another thread on the same issue. Seems to have started with Firefox 60.x.x. And also seems that Evernote team is aware of that issue.

My current workaround on Mac: I have Firefox show the .pdf, then use the "save document" function to actually chose "open document with" and select Evernote from the list of programs.

OK i had the same issue and solved it : in FF privacy settings i had to lower the acceptance of cookies level : accept "third party cookies" to "visited sites only" and restart FF it works again.

I see there is still not a resolution to the FireFox clipping issue. I am also now having issues with pdf once saved to Evernote. The pdf are outlined but blank in FireFox. They are there and I can see them in IOS but not FireFox on a laptop, desktop, etc.

Hi.  If you can see these PDF's in Evernote for iOS,  then Clipper is working correctly.  If you're using Evernote Web and can't see the content of a PDF,  that's also normal - try double clicking the icon to open the PDF in its own 'reader' window.

This is what my PDFs typically look like...

Thank You ?. I ended up reformatting my hard drive and all is good. Although now FireFox will not complete a login to clipper. It opens, ask for user name, after I enter and click next the screen goes blank and then nothing. Tried multiple times even after reboot, etc.

Hi,

Today just installed the Firefox 61.0.2 (64-bit) running on Windows 10.

Sad to report that the Evernote Web Cliper 6.13.2 not able to clip all the PDFs.

Anyone has any solution to solve this issue?

Thank you.
