larsfarm 0
(evernote 7.1 mac) right click on notebook inlist. I get two menu choices: a) share: I can invite email addresses and set permissions b) publish: I get a link. No question or message about permissions. I can't find this mentioned in the documentation either. Is this access read-only? /L Link to comment

AFAIK this creates a public URL from which anyone can access the note in a browser. If you create such a link on a test note you;ll be able to satisfy yourself that the browser image is exactly that - not editable in the browser. Evernote users could download a copy and edit from there, but that would be their local information and your original would be unchanged. Link to comment
