philc2001 1
Using WebClipper, clipping as simplified article, on Chrome. When I view the clipping in Evernote the Title heading is enormous (83pt). It's a pain to resize the headings every time. Also, the clips now are not using the full page width like they used to, they no longer word wrap. Instead they are a fixed width and they have line breaks. I can't find any settings to change this. Chrome Version 66.0.3359.117 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Macbook Pro. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 9,824 Posted May 13, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted May 13, 2018 Hi. There are a few threads in the forums about the Chrome clipper - do you get the same effect if you clip in another browser? Link to comment
airlifter2 3
That isn't the point. The Chrome Clipper used to use the full width of the window displayed on the computer after clipping. Now it is incredibly thin text column and when you click "formatting > Make Plain Text" it does not release this column width. This is incredibly annoying and needs restored to how it used to work. See screen shot attached. TONS on unused space. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 9,824 Posted September 18, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted September 18, 2018 Hmmn. Not my experience in Firefox and Windows. The web page looks like your image when I clip, but the text is full width in the note when viewed on the desktop client. Have you tried other browser clippers? Link to comment
