nobodysfool180 0
I've been adding notes to the downloaded version of Evernote. How do I sync it with the web version so that I can access my notes when I am not at my home computer (where the downloaded version) is?Is it better to add notes via the web version or the downloaded version? How do I sync it with the web version so that I can access my notes when I am not at my home computer (where the downloaded version) is?What Evernote client did you download? Windows, Mac? iPad/iPhone/iThingie? Regardless, syncing should happen automatically. One some clients, there's a way to force them to sync (e.g., the Windows client has a 'Sync' button), but you shouldn't need that.Is it better to add notes via the web version or the downloaded version?Either one, whichever suits your needs. Typically the desktop clients have a richer feature set than the web client; the mobile clients a bit less. The browser 'Clip to Evernote' tools are good ways to add notes as well: you can clip a whole page, a selection or just a link. You can also email notes to your Evernote account.Try it out and find what works for you.~Jeff Link to comment
