Error updating sharing in a shared notebook

I am trying to remove sharing from a shared notebook.  I select the shared notebook, then click properties.  Then I select "sharing and collaboration options".  The modal pops up.  I see my wife's email address and I click the "X" to remove sharing.  I get an error message stating "We were unable to process your request. Please try again later."  I tried again later, and it still isn't working. Please help.
