I am often working with multiple notes at the same time. I am often working with a particular note and want to open a different note in a new window. Of course, I double-click on the note in the list and it opens in a new window... HOWEVER, my main EN window switches to that note, as well (on the first click). Granted, it only takes hitting the "back" button, but still, my UX gut tells me that a single-click should open the note in the main EN window and a double-click should open it in a new window - leaving my main window "as is".
