Merging existing account with new account

I accidently created a PAID account for my boss under the incorrect email address and when I attempted to "add another email address" to the account, it shows that his other email address is already in use- because it is. 

 

How do I merge the two accounts? I do not want to cancel the new account - as I've already purchased a year and then having to purchase another account, therefore leaving me having purchased TWO accounts for the price of one.

You need a third email.  Use your own, or create a temporary one with the email services.  Free up your Boss's email by switching to the temporary address.

You can't merge accounts.  You either move (export/import) the notes to the new account, or share notebooks.
