Jordi Parera 2
Since the last two weeks aprox the Outlook addin for Mac (Office365) dosn´t work as before. It creates notes in the correct folder but do not assign the tags as it should be. No tags are transferred to the evernote note from Outlook.I tried using existing tags but the note is created in evernote without any tag. The note is created with the attachments and everything but not tags at all.anyone having the same issues? any idea? thanks Link to comment
Yannou2000 1
Same problem here - Have you been able to solve it? Link to comment
Jordi Parera 2
NO!!! And I'm going crazy .. this is not productive at all. Still waiting for an answer but EV seems to be focused in other fields.. This is a shame. Link to comment
Gregoryesmith 0
Same problem; I have found however that if you use OWA, the TAGS come across properly. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,057 Posted January 30, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted January 30, 2018 Has this been reported to Support? This is a (mainly) user supported forum, and Evernote won't respond to technical issues here. I'd imagine that if any users were having similar problems or had found a fix you would have had a response. Link to comment
Jordi Parera 2
Gaz, Of course. It has been reported when I identified the problem. EV answer? - Send me the logs. I did inmediatelly - Reply saying that they are looking at the logs. - After a couple of weeks.. no more info. I resend my email. - EV answer saying that the development/support team is looking at the issue but they can´t say when they will find a solution. I asked if at least they know what the problem is.. answer. None. no more feedback from there. I'm very dissapointed.. I'm a EV "activist" but I don´t know what is happening now.. their tech support is really bad. anyway.. patiente... i don´t have any other option... until something as functionally good as EV jump into the market. Level 5* gazumped 12,057 Posted January 31, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted January 31, 2018 You didn't say, so I had to ask... as to knowing what the problem is, I'd imagine that comes only a little while before having a solution. Finding out why something isn't working is 90% of fixing it. Also 'how long will this take?' - you'll know when you test the fix and find it works. Frustrating I know. If something else comes along in the meantime - that's always a user's choice. Meantime there's copy & paste, sending emails to an account email address, and using a web interface to view mail and the browser clipper to capture it... Link to comment
Jordi Parera 2
Gazump, thank you for your help . Will see if EV react or not.. I'm going to resend the email asking about it. J Link to comment
vandevyver 17
I have the Outlook plugin installed (v16.10) and activated the Evernote plugin in O365. When I use the plugin to create a note from a mail, the tags are not assigned to the note (this works fine in the O365 online version, just not in the local desktop version) Any hints? Thanks Luc Link to comment

vandevyver 17
re-installing did not help. I guess there is a bug in Evernote plugin for Outlook on Mac (v2016) Link to comment

Roy Galvin 0
Was working for me, now missing from Ribbon, Outlook V16.15 (180611). When I click on the store button on the ribbon, and click add Evernote, it doesn't add, an error pops up to say it can not add Evernote at this time, and try again. Click Dismiss. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks Link to comment
Pete Nikolai 6
Same issue here on Windows platform. Tags are assigned in Save to Evernote, note is created, but tags do not show up on note. But at least the note is assigned to the correct Notebook and the remarks made using the Save to Evernote plugin are showing up. Link to comment
Epic 1
Is anyone else still experiencing this issue? I’m have the same problem. No tags saved when using EN plugin ver 1.8. However, the old plugin does still work, which I am using for now. I’m primarily using the plugin in desktop version of Outlook 365 on Windows 10 as of Feb 11, 2019. Link to comment
vandevyver 17
indeed still the same issue. (on Mac Mojave & latest version of Outlook 365 desktop) Hope someone would be so kind to have a look. Link to comment
Level 5 Shane D. 1,826 Posted February 11, 2019 Level 5 Share Posted February 11, 2019 Hi All, First, I wanted to let you know that we are aware of the issue and are working to address it. Secondly, I've gone ahead and merged other thread into this one so that we have a better idea of the number of users this is impacting, and to create a centralized location for updates regarding this issue. I'll follow-up here once I have more information! Link to comment
TaperCrimp 0
Exact same problem here. I'm using the fast insider build of Outlook for the Mac. It'll export notes to Evernote with the plugin, but tags are ignored and I have to manually go into Evernote to add them. Any updates? This has been open for a while. Link to comment

However, if you can use the old EN Outlook plugin, it works perfectly. The one with grey icon, instead of green. Link to comment
vandevyver 17
Epic, can you point us to the location of the old EN outlook plugin ? Many thanks Luc Link to comment
Epic 1
I beleive it is installed with the desktop application and you simply go to File, Options, Add-ins, Com Add-ins and enable it. (you can also look in ‘Disabled Com Add-Ins’ Found this. For older versions of Outlook, but same process. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005837-How-to-use-the-Microsoft-Outlook-Clipper-add-in-to-save-emails-to-Evernote Note that this doesn’t work on Office 365 web app. I’m not sure about Outlook on a Mac. korhan 0
This was working for me some time ago but it stopped working some time ago as reported in this thread. I actually tried it again and see it is working now on my Mac + Outlook. Is this fluke or did a change go in with the most recent outlook which made this work again? using MS Outlook for Mac --- version 16.25 -(19051201) Link to comment
