When you set a reminder, a brief text should be displayed, informing you of the time remaining until the reminder ... (in 3 hours or 13 hours or 4 days, ).
This way you can easily check that you've set the reminder when you wanted to.
More or less should work just like the Clock app in android informs you when you set an alarm. You are briefly showed an info for when the alarm is set.
