Automatic Uppercase

Is it possible to enable automatic uppercasing? It just gets me off my groove whenever I type, knowing I have to hold shift whenever I end a sentence.

Enable the setting in Settings > General > Keyboards > Auto-Capital

I meant using the desktop application of Evernote.

I'm using windows. Also, everything else is automatically uppercased. However, for some reason the Evernote application for my laptop won't uppercase. I know it isn't a huge problem but I would just like to know why.

Hi - everything else where?  AFAIK there's no automatic uppercasing except via a spellcheck or grammatical utility which corrects that sort of error as you type. certainly doesn't apply. to my keyboard here...

Some programs do automatically uppercase new sentences--word processors like Word and Nota Bene, the writing tool Scrivener. My keyboard app on my Android phone will do the same. Windows Evernote's editor remains very basic in this as in other respects.

I followed DTLow's last answer and I still do not get automatic capitalization in every new sentence. I regret upgrading to the new version in evernote..

Not sure what we can do - you could go back to the Legacy version...
