In Console I am getting an overflow of messages created by EvernoteHelper regarding the Evernote Safari Toolbar Plugin:

Is there any reason these messages are filling up my console everyday while the Evernote Safari Plugin is installed? None of the other plugins are taxing my system in this way.

I tried to attach the log but this Forum's software wouldn't allow me to attach a file with a .log or a .txt extension or even a file with no extension… odd.

Those are debugging messages that we added to help try to figure out why our icon in Safari misbehaves on some people's systems. The new Safari 5 has a real plug-in framework that should allow us to get rid of all of this ugly code, so these messages should disappear in the future.

Any update when you are going to turn off developer troubleshooting messages for production releases of Evernote? I get a plethora of "EVERNOTE: I'm in the toolbar." messages.

It only bothers me when I need to troubleshoot something on my Mac.

Makes taking a quick look at the Console to see if the system is running properly a pain. Should be easy for you to have a preference setting to turn off those messages if you really need them to help out end users.

Otherwise, keep up the good work folks.
