batalbot 0
When using Safari 3 or Firefox 2 on OSX 10.5, the "notes" page causes the browser to use too much CPU time. It's holding at a pretty steady 15% of the CPU on my MacBook Pro (core duo). This hurts battery life for notebooks and mobile devices of course.Generally, only pages with flash-based content (ads) cause CPU usage like this. I have just 8 notes and don't see any animations running. Link to comment
engberg 89
We've made a few changes in the way we process thumbnails in the next service release (tonight or tomorrow). This feels a lot smoother, especially if you have a larger number of notes. Try this again on Friday (or after) and let us know if the situation has improved. If not, we'll take another crack at it.Thanks Link to comment
engberg 89
Ok, I'm a liar. I think we found the real cause of this problem, and have fixed it for next week's service release. Thanks again. Link to comment
