Creating an Evernote contact from the Mac address book

Is there anyway to create an Evernote Contact from the MAC address book?  

From the address book I can

• select a contact
• select Evernote from the "Send to" icon
• go to Evernote and a new note is present
• But the note doesn't actually contain viewable information, rather just a file.

Note that I do not want to share my address book with Evernote.
