Billy S 1
After I've gotten to the "Create a new note" screen, when I click on the "Note Title" text field with my mouse, it won't do anything. It only allows me to enter text if I touch the "Note Title" text field on my screen. I used to be able to do this with the mouse using all the same equipment, up until roughly a year ago. Coincidentally, at that time, I noticed that the text field below the "Note Title" text field (i.e. the "What is on your mind?" text field) STARTED responding to mouse clicks, as previously it hadn't been. This is kind of a big hassle for me, as I am often not within arms-reach of my phone, and I use Evernote quite a bit during those times. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Billy PS: I am using a Logitech M570 trackball mouse with a Ksmile USB 2.0 OTG adapter on my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone, Android version 6.0.1 (Marshmellow). Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,072 Posted January 8, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted January 8, 2018 Hi. Evernote changed its editor software a while ago, and the editor code that runs the title field is (for some weird reason) different from the that in the note body. Don't know if that has anything to do with your changed situation. It could be a problem with the trackball mechanics or code - have you tried another compatible device? If it is a code change I don't see Samsung / Logitech or Evernote coming up with a cure anytime soon - you may have to look at work-arounds - do you have access to S-Note on your device? S Notes will sync/ save to Evernote. Or you could use another note-taking app and import those files to Evernote. If you're an Evernote subscriber you have an email address to send information to your account - could you put your notes in emails? Link to comment
