MED 0
I want to use Evernote for daily journaling. My needs are quite simple: create a capability where each morning I write answers to a few simple prompts (e.g. what am I grateful for today, etc). I have my own prompts I want to use (e.g. I'm not shopping for someone else's journal template). I have searched and read a number of articles on templates in Evernote, but they are either for business teams or seem to be excessively convoluted. Here's the simple flow I'm hoping to achieve: 1. Each morning I create a new note in my "2018 Daily Journal" notebook 2. When the new note opens, it automatically has the prompts. 3. I write my answers and close. Simple. That's what I'm trying to accomplish. Thoughts? Link to post

I use a script on my Mac to create my daily journal note (documented here) It copies the template and sets the title, tags ... and inserts an entry into the calendar Evernote notes don't have a prompt feature however the script can be modified to prompt for input, and append the response to the journal note Link to post
