Any workaround to install Evernote on a 3rd generation iPad?

The 3rd generation iPad only updates to iOS 9.3.5 – and the current client in the Apple Store requires an update to at least 10.3 to install.

Any workarounds via iTunes (or anything else) to upload an older version of Evernote?

1. Get the program on iTunes
2. Go to your iPad
3. Click to download
4. Will prompt to download the most recent compatible version instead

Yes, but it's complicated and requires a Mac computer
The app file is installed via Mac iTunes, and can be a previous version

I haven't done this for a while, but this was discussed here

hello! i had the same problem and cos I updated my mac and windows PC, the itunes method doesn't work anymore.

i've contacted apple support and got the following response which solved my problem:

- download evernote to your iphone with the latest iOS

- using the same itunes account, login to your apple ID on your ipad 3

- go to purchase history

- you will be prompted to download the last compatible version of the app.
