mpatten 0 Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 I ran a quick search, but didn't see if a WYSIWYG editor like TinyMCE is in order soon for the web version?MP
engberg 89 Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 We actually are using a full rich text editor in the web UI ... it's the same one you see on the right hand side of this page: http://gwt.google.com/samples/KitchenSink/KitchenSink.html#TextThis means that if you (e.g.) cut-and-paste from a web page, the result in our editor should be formatted. What's missing is the set of helper buttons and controls that you see on that demo page. This means that there's no easy way to boldface, etc. This is in the works, we're just trying to make sure it looks decent and non-confusing.Thanks
protobofh 0 Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 WYSIWYG is nice, but will the shortcuts be consistent across platforms? Right now the Mac and Web versions don't support Ctrl+M for indenting, Ctrl+Shift+C for a to-do check box, etc. and that's pretty frustrating.
