When taking a photo of a document, such as pages in the Evernote Smart Notebook, the note's body is automatically centered. If you want to type any amount of text above or below the page image, you have to Select All, then change the alignment to flush left. (I use TaskClone in a workflow to automatically move lists with checkboxes in Evernote to my task app.)
