iOS: allow to change the Create Date

GerardT

Idea

Hello, I use EverNote to move all my paper stuff into a searchable library.

In my workflow,  I scan, and place in NOtebooks, sorted by Date and subject.

For date sorting, I use the native 'Create Date' field, and allign this filed to the Paper document date. Logic here is that for this (paper) document, this is the Create Date.

Unfortunately, I can only to this on my laptop. I really whish to be able to use my iPad for my entire Evernote Workflow.

I request that the iOS version of EverNote will get the feature to change the Create date

I look forward to your user cases on this feature in the IPad version

I added my vote because I want the mobile version to be as fully featured as the desktop version.

I'd prefer to use a separate date field for the subject date.
There is an actual field in the metadata called Subject Date.  It's been there from way back, but Evernote doesn't provide access in the UI

I scan all my paperwork (iPad camera) and store as an attachment to a note.

My workflow is to tag and title the notes appropriately; I have a single* Filing notebook.

For some note types, I prefix the title with the subject date.
This works well with receipts and appointments.
I don't generally mess with the Create Date

*I have other notebooks where I make use of the Local/Sync, Share, Offline features.
