Settings reset themselves?

On a Mac, newest version of Evernote. My settings keep resetting themselves. Basically every week I have to re-enable note counts in sidebar, change how often it syncs, disable Evernote helper, change formatting, etc. The little pop-ups about work chat and all that also come again when they rest. But none of my notes are gone or anything, so it's only the settings.

I've tried uninstalling, using the direct download from website, and using the Mac app store version, same problem no matter what I do. What's going on?
