Play Store says Evernote app is installed on my Acer Chromebook, but it is not.

Pretty much what the title says. I installed Evernote on my Acer Chromebook a while back, and probably don't use it as much as I should. When  I went to open the app today, I couldn't find it on the computer. The Play store says it is installed, but as far as I can tell, it isn't. Anyone experience anything similar, or have any advice?

First off all you can try to clear cache of your google play store app.

If you still get the issue you can install evernote using the APK from trusted store like https://www.apkmirror.com/ or latest version on https://www.androidapksbox.com/

 After that you can uninstall or update it from google play.

Hi and welcome to the forums. Can you say some more? Are you having the exact same problem as the original poster in 2017: an Acer Chromebook on which you had installed Evernote, but then it disappeared, and now Play is saying it's on the computer but you don't see it there? If not, specifics of your situation would help.
