Evernote for Mac: Notes jumping to the top

Hi all,

 

I am using Evernote for Mac version 6.12.3. 

 

I am noticing that as I switch between my notes, they keep returning to the top of the note. This is extremely frustrating as sometimes I am reading through a long note and then need to switch to another note to enter some information. When I return to the note I was reading it has scrolled all the way to the to and I have lost my place i the note. 

 

Does anyone know a fix for this? Is it a preferences thing that I can change?
