(Archived) suggestion: no need for delete confirmation

As with google: since items are moved to the trash when 'deleted' and since the action is then clearly signalled (so we can't accidentally delete without knowing it) there is no need for us to be bothered by an unnecessary confirmation dialog box. It would be simply marvellous if it disappeared.

I can imagine that google have straight-to-trash delete protected with a patent. I hope not.

There should be a "don't show me this again" checkbox on the confirmation ... if you don't see this option, which client (or web) are you using?

There's no "don;t show this again" box. Client is firefox 3.6.6. Ubuntu 10.04. Neither view, multi-items or viewing the item itself, shows such a tickbox. Evernote addon is installed.

Just to clarify: neither view shows such a tickbox in the delete confirmation dialog that pops up when you press the delete button.

Thanks for the clarification. I forgot that the web view doesn't remember this.
