Steve Hickey 0
If I click on the Windows 7 Evernote Task Bar icon a dialog is displayed saying "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'Evernote.msi'." I have searched for Evernote.msi and can't find it anywhere. I can start Evernote successfully by clicking on Evernote.exe in the program files (x86)/evernote folder. If I right click on evernote.exe and select "pin to Task Bar" the icon is created but when clicked on causes the error dialog mentioned above. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Level 5* gazumped 11,656 Posted October 27, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted October 27, 2017 Hi. Try 'send to desktop' to create an icon, and then drag and drop that to your taskbar (I think.. so many different versions of Windows...!!). Failing that just click the start menu and type "Evernote" (or as much of the word as necessary) to select and start the app. Link to comment
