Is setting a note named location possible?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to set Evernote note locations to a specific named location, on Mac or on any platform for that matter?

The best example I can think of this is in DayOne, attached. You can both search for a location name, and then it's set and displayed on a note. DayOne will also helpfully prompt you to update a new photo's location when you import it into a note.

One use case is to replace the discontinued Food product. It's obviously helpful if you can associate a dining note with a specific restaurant name, not just a general street location that happens to be nearby.

If this is not supported, any plans to expand this feature beyond the current barebone implementation?

Update 11/15/2017: From support on Twitter: "I can see where you're coming from here. I've marked your request for our team so they can know users are looking for this functionally. I appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback with me."
