If for any reason like windows get corrupt etc. Evernote Windows app get deleted or fresh installation would be required then after Sign in to Same account, would all our notes be back to where they were ?

In other words is there any need to take backup of Evernote Database folder or All folders created/saved in C:\\Users\\ABC\\Evernote location for notes recovery ?

Please advise ?

As long as everything is sync'd then yes, just log in and it all comes back down.

If you have things that were not sync'd at the time a system went belly up, or you have offline only notebooks, then you wold need to create a backup of that folder you mentioned above.

I keep a backup of my database because it's my data,  and I don't want to rely solely on another company in a different country to keep it safe.  I trust Evernote (mostly) but just in case...

Well, I'm sure the NSA has a copy of it too, so that is my second backup. :P

True,  but no worries - my plans to Take Over The World are in a local notebook.  :D

Accidental note deletion is a reason to make your own backups, ENEX being the easiest form in my view,.  There is no other way to recover a note you accidentally delete and subsequently empty the trash notebook without realizing it.

Generally, Evernote has your data backed up (except for Local Notebooks; except for deleted notes)

My preference is to backup my data using the export feature instead of the database folders.  I do incremental backups daily (changed notes), and weekly full backups of each notebook
