File > New Audio Note not bring up audio recorder

Recommended Posts

I've created audio notes in EN before, but when I tried it tonight, it just brought me to the place where I typically create a text note. I recently uninstalled and reinstalled EN because Clipper and sync were acting wonky.

Any suggestions? BTW, I'm running Sierra, 10.12.6 and EN,  6.12.3

Thanks in advance for any help you might give

Pending any responses,  do you have any external apps that will record sound?  You should be able to attach the audio output file they produce to a note in pretty much the same way as Evernote audio works.  The only minor complication is that you probably need to save in MP3 or an equivalent if you wish to play the result on mobile devices.

Yes, I noticed the same, DTLow, however, before I would simply go to File > New Audio Note, as in the attached file. That facility is now not working.
