(Archived) Feature Request: Email note preserve creation date

I've been experimenting with redirecting mail messages into Evernote using the email gateway. This works fine except that some of these emails were not created today and I'd like the Created date in the new note to correspond to the date in the email header if at all possible (I usually use Redirect from Apple Mail.app or "bounce" from pine). This would save me having to fix up all the created dates so that the notes appear in the time line properly.

It does preserve the author and subject fields and they end up in the note correctly.
