Sizing pictures

With the new update, it is impossible to size alike 2 pictures near each other. It's a lot of trial and error to have 2 pictures at the same size.

Also, I would love an option that pictures automatically are saved in the smallest version. In general, I think that the management of pictures within a note can be much better and in fact, I found it worse with the latest update. It is not practical to work with images.

On the rare occasion I am looking for absolute precision in image size I use something like paint to change the size.  Downside is you lose the original so you have to save a copy if that is important.  Never could get it 100% precise with EN.  Have to leave EN to do it, but you do get the pixels you want.

I picked a standard pixel size (mostly) for my images - 680 wide and 96dpi - which gives me the best results on my normal working screen.  I use a free image editor - XnView - to set dpi and size,  and Phrase Express to do that with one key combination.  Any additional rotating / cropping is (obviously) manual.  It gets the job done.

Too complicated for my taste, imagine doing this for some 10 pictures. I simply take the mouse click on corner down right and start resizing. Though difficult to resize at same size as previous picture in a same note which was not the case in previous version

Well, create a 1x10 table and put an image in each cell.  Change the column width and they should all be the same size.

This might be an interesting way of using tables. Thanks. Will start working like that. Will see how it works out.

I read thread and thought that it could be useful - I have used the same "trick" in MS Word with great success. Interestingly, I have been having problems with resizing images - they reduce one side, but not both, so I end up with a distorted image. Interesting thing is that if I now put them in a table, resize them (not sure if that is necessary), click outside the table, then drag the resized images to the new position, and then resize them, the correct behavior is restored. Too many steps for a routine process, but if I do want to resize important images it is good to know that I can do it.

There are those life changing tools, this is one  of them. I am a heavy Evernote user with 12.000+ notes but never gave too much attention to the tables.... until now. Very easy way of organizing info within a note. Now I am putting pictures, pdf, docs all in tables.

Good to hear it is working for you.  :)

Any idea when tables are coming to Android? Clearly, something that I am missing now

Tables exist in the Android client, and you can edit the content in table cells; you just can't create them or edit existing tables (in terms or adding/removing rows or columns). No idea on when or if that functionality is coming to Android (Evernote does not typically give out future feature release information).
