Cursor begins off-screen in new note iOS 11

Idea

When I start a new note on my iPhone 7 , the active cursor is above what is actually being displayed in the Evernote window. I can tap on the open field, scroll up and see what I typed, but as soon as I start typing again, the page auto-scrolls up and the active cursor is again out of sight while typing.

This basically makes the app unusable... Is anyone else experiencing this?

This is driving me crazy too. Strange thing is that it seems it is not affecting many people, because I had trouble finding anyone else talking about this and it practically makes Evernote unusable on iOS. It is usually impossible to select something to copy because of the screen jumping around and the highlight going offscreen.
