Option to turn off certain text expansions

Hello, 

I tend to write a lot of code snippets in evernote, some of these include `--` which automatically get expanded to `—`. However the `--` have specific meaning and as such I need to keep them as two dashes.

Is it possible to have an option to be able to turn off this particular expansion?

 

As a bit of an aside, I do like the ``` expansion to a code block. Is there a similar one for an inline code block, or can one be created?

Hi.  AFAIK the new text expensions are an all or nothing affair - it's possible to opt out of the whole thing,  but not to select one or two favorites to keep.  You could investigate third party text expanders and turn the Evernote option off while using one of them to generate your preferred effects.

Hey Gazumped, 

Thanks for the suggestion, I hadn't thought about doing that. Something out of the box would have been nice, but I will have a look into those text expanders.
