How do I make Windows focus again on a new Evernote note when I create one via Hotkey?

In the past, when I clicked the global hotkey to create a new note in Evernote it started a new note and the Window of the new note got focused.

At the moment, when I create the global hotkey it just create a new window but it doesn't focus it.

I recently installed the Windows Creator Update and had to reinstall my computer because Microsoft is incompetent at creating an update flow that doesn't break my computer. I don't know whether the reinstallation of my computer changed some setting, whether the Windows Creators update changed how it handles focus or whether an update to Evernote is to blame.

Is there something I can do that Windows again focuses the window of a new Evernote note when I press the global hotkey?

I have the same issue. It is intermittent as a problem. Sometimes I have it and sometimes I don't.
