Disappointed in all the Upgrade requests

kbeakley

Idea

It seems as though every time I go to do something I'm prompted to upgrade for one reason or another. I'm already a Plus user, I was premium for a long time but wasn't using all the features.

I have turned my entire company onto using Evernote and referred thousands of people to it, but I'm actively looking for something else that isn't just trying to get me to pay more. I will gladly pay for a service with features I use, but I don't like being constantly asked to upgrade...and the amount I use EN means I'm getting constant pop ups. Very frustrating.

Hi.  One friendly developer - who's also a user - has already commented "Marketing made me do it";  so I think you have some sympathisers in the Evernote camp.  The problem is getting it home to the right people.  The best way (IMHO) - if you see the reminders just too unreasonably often - is to submit a support request.  There have been cases where a bug caused an unusually frequent number of messages to appear so you might get some small relief;  but the most important factor is to get the frequency of support requests as far up as possible...  cause a similar issue for the support team,  and something might be done.  :)

As a paying customer you can reach out to Support directly on https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new or tweet them via https://twitter.com/evernotehelps

I do sympathize. But what's really odd to me is that my work Evernote is a free account (my personal is premium), but I hardly see any upgrade messages at all. I certainly use Evernote every working day, so it's not like it's gathering dust in a dark corner of my hard drive or anything. Puzzles me a little...
