justanaverageguy 1
Sometimes I copy a Word document that has certain sentences or paragraphs color highlighted to Evernote. It may or may not pick up the colored highlights. How do I make sure that the colored highlights stay in Evernote? Link to comment

justanaverageguy 1
I'm using Windows, and I just use CTRL+A and then copy it to Evernote. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,652 Posted August 4, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted August 4, 2017 OK - there's no way that I know to ensure that the content is copied accurately - the most efficient way might be to attach a copy of the document you copy with the note. Your plain text in the note will be visible inline, and you can check the accuracy if and when you need to by opening the original. Link to comment
justanaverageguy 1
I usually do attach the Word document to the copied text. A couple of things that I've cut and pasted to Evernote with highlights have come through but I don't know how long that will last. I don't even know if it matters what browser I'm working on.
