Since upgrading to the latest version (Version 6.11.1 (455059 Direct)), I have noticed hundreds of corrupted notes amongst my many clippings. See attached example. Notes are still fine in web version. How do I fix this rather egregious problem? Certainly makes me question my use and reliance of Evernote.

The web version accesses the master version of yout data on the Evernote servers

This indicates your notes aren’t corrupted; it’s a display issue

My process for troubleshooting

  1. Reboot your Mac; it often solves many problems
  2. Delete and reinstall the app

Thank you for your help. The problem still persists upon rebooting. If I delete and reinstall will the app automatically download all my notes upon re-syncing? Just want to be sure that I do not lose any data. Thanks again.

Deleting/reinstalling the app should not impact your data.

I’d still make sure my data was backed up; particularly local notebooks

I have now upgraded to the Beta version (Version 6.12 Beta 2 (455250 Direct)), which seems to have resolved the issue.

Evernote for Mac 6.11.1

We've fixed several issues people were having with notes:
- Some notes created in Evernote for Mac would not render after sync
- Some tables lost formatting after updating Evernote to 6.11
- Pasting a line of text would add an additional line break
- Some full width dividers from other clients were not shown as full width
- Some pasted content were missing styles
