Text disappearing or cursor jumping to start of sentence when editing

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but when editing notes I often find the whole sentence will disappear or the cursor will keep jumping to the start of the sentence and start writing there. I usually have to start editing, fix it, start, fix, start, fix until it will actually do what I want it to do. It's frustrating as my touch typing is a bit all over the place, so sometimes I don't notice I've mangled my notes until I've done a bit of writing. Using a late 2013 iMac, running Yosemite, no images in these notes or other media. Haven't noticed this on a PC, though I rarely use Evernote on it

Hi.  The cursor has been known to jump to the title bar,  but generalised back and forth sounds more like a hardware problem than anything - do you have any issues with the keyboard in any other apps?

Hi, nope, never had this issue with any other application, only Evernote.
