How can I see if I checked auto sync on my desktop client for mac?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm new to Evernote.  I've read some more about how it works and I want to make sure that I am auto synced with the cloud.  I can't find where this check box exists on my desktop client for Mac.  Please give me really specific instructions because I'm new and everything is hard to find. :(

Hi.  Creating a local notebook requires some specialised choices,  so I think you'd know if you had already opened one.  Sign in with the same user details to Evernote.com from your browser and you should be able to view your notes online,  which will confirm that they have been copied to the server.

I'm set for every 5 minutes

I have a visual indication that my notes are sync'd
My default view is top list, update sequence, and I show the sync column

As @gazumped mentioned; Local Notebooks are by definition non-syncing
You need to have reasons for using these notebooks; make sure you back them up

Finally, you can view your notes on the Evernote servers using the web platform (www.evernote.com)
