Larhard 1
I've been using Android Evernote for a while, then suddenly it started taking much darker pictures. Any other application (Camera, NeoReader, etc.) has no problems like that. Is that known case to you? I attach screenshot of Camera and Evernote in good light. Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 2,701 Posted June 20, 2017 Level 5 Share Posted June 20, 2017 That is unusual. I note that in the good photo, the flash is apparently turned off, while in Evernote it is set to Auto. Perhaps turning on the flash in Evernote (even though the other app apparently doesn't need it!) would help. Link to comment
Larhard 1
It doesn't help much Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,395 Posted June 20, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted June 20, 2017 In Evernote settings you should have the option to use the device camera rather than the Evernote feature. It's unusual though to have such dark photos - have you tried really bright lighting? Direct sunlight or a nearby desk-light? Link to comment
Larhard 1
Thanks for the workaround, but I would like to have these nice image post-processing options. Sadly all my windows are to the north, so I never have direct sunlight Yes, in very light environment it works, but it has to be really strong light. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,395 Posted June 21, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted June 21, 2017 Hmmn. Some light is required for pictures, though if other apps are working normally with the camera... I'd suggest you uninstall and reinstall the app to see if there's any improvement. That's about as techy as you can get with a mobile app: if nothing changes I'd suggest you reach out to Support directly if you're a paying customer on https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new or tweet them if not via https://twitter.com/evernotehelps Link to comment
Larhard 1
Reinstallation of the app was one of the first things I've done. Ticket created, let's wait for the reply. Link to comment
