geminimt 0
I have a company computer that has Evernote on it. I am leaving the company so want to wipe the notes off of that computer (lots of personal notes) but can't uninstall Evernote because I don't have admin permission. I revoked access in my account settings so is it now safe for me to delete all of the notes on that laptop without fear of losing them from my account? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,658 Posted June 16, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted June 16, 2017 Hi. I'd think it would still be a risk to change your notes in the existing account. Just to be extra safe, how about setting up another Evernote basic account on that machine and connecting with that. Then, when the new account has focus, find your original account database file (Windows) or note files (Mac) and delete those files from the computer. Do it outside of Evernote, otherwise the app will do its best to sync the deletions back to the server. Link to comment
