Bug - non-empty notes seem empty on Mac client

Recommended Posts

Many of my notes seem "empty" on the Mac client. However, as you can see in the screenshot, the note is not really empty, and all these notes load just fine on the web client. Did my notes get corrupted somehow, or is there some way to recover from this?

Things I've tried:

  • restart Evernote
  • restart computer
  • re-install Evernote

Environment: macOS Sierra (10.12.5), Evernote Mac (Version 6.11 (454874 Direct))

The master version of your notes is stored on the web server (exception Local Notebooks)

Don't just restart computer; reboot

You can refresh your Mac data

1. Open Evernote for Mac
2. Hold the **Shift** and **Option** keys on your keyboard and click the sync wheel (next to your username)
3. Depending on the number of notes in your account, the amount of time it can take for the force sync to finish will vary.

Exactly the same problem on latest beta Windows client 6.6.1. On the web and Android clients these notes are OK. Need help. I've refreshed the database, but no effect. Sorry for non-mac issue.
