Caleela 1
I have added the same external website link into a note in 2 ways: 1. via pasting directly from copied website URL in a browser; and 2. via Format | Link | Add (command K) Both links work perfectly from Evernote (Evernote Links.tiff) Selecting all the content (both lines) and pasting, all content with both links pates OK into Scrivener, Keynote, wordpress... But, when I paste into a text document, or add notes in a calendar, for example, only link 1 pastes as a hyper link. Link 2 merely pastes the links visible description as text. (Pasted links.tiff) Can this be fixed, or is there a workaround? Link to comment

I think the key is the limited capability of a text display or a calendar box. http://-style links are interpreted correctly as active links, but embedded links which contain HTML code to 'hide' the URL behind text can't be parsed as links. The obvious workaround is always to post the http:// links.. I have the same issue with some software I use to save me typing standard phrases a lot - like: "You can contact Support direct if you're a paying customer or tweet them if not.. https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new or https://twitter.com/evernotehelps" Saved in Evernote, the same wording is "You can contact Support direct if you're a paying customer or tweet them if not.." - but that won't copy/ paste from my helpful software, so had to be expanded. Welcome to the wonderful world of IT. Link to comment
