shekala 53
I was excited to see the Linked In component of the web clipper, but it seems quite limited. The only data it pulls over is the picture, and some brief and truncated data. Is there anyway to control what is clipped? Would be great to clip more meaningful information. Thanks! Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 9,567 Posted April 24, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted April 24, 2017 Hi. The LinkedIn clipper option used to give a nice summary of the pages you chose, but then LinkedIn went and changed their UI. Evernote hasn't caught up yet... Link to comment
shekala 53
ahh, that makes sense. Thanks for letting me know. I hope they catch up. The current clip info doesnt do much. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 9,567 Posted April 24, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted April 24, 2017 It is still possible to get most of what you need if you select the biggest part of the required data that you can and 'clip selection', then either copy the note title you used and clip any other bits of the page that you need under the same title to merge the notes later, or sync to get the new note content and copy / paste the rest from the website to the note. I don't use this process frequently, so for my level of use it's a viable workaround. YMMV. Link to comment
shekala 53
makes sense, but too much effort. will use what they provide now since at least it links back, and hope they fix it soon. thanks again! Link to comment
