"Quick note could not be saved"

Recommended Posts

Whenever I used the "clip window" or "Clip full screen" function, I get a pop-up window with "Quick note could not be saved".

Any idea how to fix this?

I have tried uninstalling / restart / reinstalling several times, as well as removing the safari extension manually before reinstalling.

The computer is a MacBook Air.

Hi @Lockon,

Please try the following steps to resolve the issue with the Helper:

1. Quit Evernote and Evernote Helper
2. Open Finder
3. Go to ‘Go' > 'Go To Folder'
4. Insert `~/Library/Group Containers/Q79WDW8YH9.com.evernote.Evernote/Evernote/`
5. Move the folder "quick-note" to the desktop
6. Launch Evernote and try reproducing the issue again.

Thanks so much BSR - that seems to have fixed the problem!  I just clipped some images and saved them as a Quick Note

What do I do with the folder that is now on the desk top?

If the problem returns, do I just repeat these steps?

Glad to hear it! You can move that folder to the trash. If the issue persists, let me know here and I'll be happy to look further into this with you.
