Bulleted list shortcut not working on mac

Hi, @masont00,

Is it possible that you've installed or configured something that is taking over Command+Shift+U on your Mac?

Often, when I have strange things like this happen, it's because I just installed some (otherwise convenient) tool that takes over a behavior I'm accustomed to.

Here are some places to look to see what's up:

  • One place to check is in System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts
    • Scroll through that list and see if you find an item with ⇧⌘U on the right side. That might be the culprit.
  • Try to remember if you installed any "macro" utilities like Keyboard Maestro, Karabiner, iKey, Butler, FastFox, or others.

Good luck,

Dave

The Cmd+Shift+U shortcut for a bulleted list opens up a finder window instead of creating a bulleted list.

Is there a specific folder Finder is opening at?
In Finder, Cmd+Shift+U is the shortcut to open the Utilities folder

Just some info - it doesn't solve the problem
